The staff were very helpful and welcoming, it felt like they wanted to take care of me, like family. I especially loved the spacious bedroom in the new building, made me feel important and comfortable, it was just perfect for a quiet getaway.
The meals were a bit pricey, maybe that’s just the cost of enjoying these little luxuries.

The hotel’s oak-panelled bar exudes class and calm—a perfect spot to unwind with friends or relax after exploring. Beautiful décor and accessibility for seniors made my stay truly enjoyable.
More accessible amenities would enhance the experience.

Just a balanced option for short visits in Newcastle upon Tyne with all in all brilliant value for money. Had a great time enjoying their high tea in the dining room, which was one of the best we've experienced. Bring your own snacks if you plan to stay in, as the room service wasn't impressive.

Charming Stay with Helpful Staff
We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay. The Classic Double Room offered elegant decor and unmatched cleanliness. The staff, especially Oscar, were incredibly accommodating. For older guests, I suggest requesting a room with fewer stairs to ensure comfort. a refreshing experience in a picturesque location.

A lovely escape in nature
Had a really nice stay. The room was super comfy and had an amazing view of the woods. The staff were so friendly and helpful, especially the girl in the restaurant who always chatted with us. Only issue was that the bathroom could’ve been a bit cleaner. Loved the peaceful walks around the grounds, they were stunning!
